Light streaks from car lights as they pass one of the three rest areas of the Lærdal Tunnel in Norway, the longest road tunnel in the world at 24 km.
Taken on a drive from Bergen to Oslo last summer, I was not aware of these blue-lit delights for the eye while driving slowly uphill in a seemingly endless tunnel. Stopping at the second one, I grabbed my trusty Gorillapod and set up for a few traffic trail shots.
The light was perfect - not too dark but still giving ample playground for long shutters; this photo is (except for top and bottom cropping) straight from camera. The diffusion of the light on the right from the wide angle is a first for me in the terms of traffic trail kitch.
