Why do the 2 young ones carry their helmets on the back rack, is it a fashion statement or do they think that they won’t fall…I don’t get it

Helmets aren’t mandatory in most of Europe, and we often carry ours this way. Sometimes we wear them, sometimes we don’t – depending on road conditions. I’m guessing that’s what’s going on here.

Very funny video and a lovely slant with the old style voice-over and music. Makes me want to do a little tour with me old man.

Thanks for sharing this one. Makes me feel quite young in comparison. Mind you have just used some pension money to buy a Koga Randonneur but don,t know if we,ll get so far away just yet.
BTW any news on your new arrival yet?
Best wishes

Congrats on the new bike!
The new arrival is due anytime now (officially February 7th but he could always show up early…) – we’re playing the waiting game. If the website goes totally silent for a week or two, you’ll know why 🙂

Oooh you are about to start on such a long journey. Hope all goes well. I’ve got 2 sons and they are still my boys even though they are grown men. It’s great when they come cycling too.
Best wishes
