Upsides: Nice touring extras like the rack mounts at this price.
Downsides: Like most bikes in this price range, upgrades are to be expected. No racks come with the bike and the 32-spoke wheels won’t be up to carrying heavy loads and riders. If you want a steel frame, you’ll have to upgrade to the 700 cc Marin Muirwoods 29er.
