Alvaro the Biciclown doesn’t do bicycle touring in a small way. His journey began in 2001 with a trip through South America and then he decided to start Miles of Smiles – a 10 year bike journey around the world from 2004 to 2014. On the way, he gives performances to people in different countries: over 50 so far for more than 17,000 people. He focuses on creating a smile for vulnerable people like refugees, orphans and prisoners. Alvaro has 3 books available on his BiciClown website and also made a documentary.
