When Chris finished university, he went on a 1,500 mile summer cycle tour of the United Kingdom. On the way, he visited 3 ‘road protests’ against new road building and even had the honour of being arrested! He wrote a book about the experience, Woolly Wanderings.
Since then, Chris has participated in charity rides and used his bike for everyday things like shopping, getting to work and going to the pub.
“Until recently I had a Cycletote bicycle trailer in which I carried all sorts of things from car engines to bags of horse manure and seaweed for my garden. It was a good quality trailer from Colorado, America, and lasted a long time with frequent use.”
