Christi and Tauru are currently (April 2012) riding in Chile, on their way to an 18-month journey across roughly 16,000 miles and 15 countries on a tandem bike from Argentina to Alaska.
Along the way they’ll stop at schools for the visually impaired to talk about their story in hopes to raise awareness. You see Christi is blind and Tauru is going blind. They hope to inspire others with disabilities that anything can be accomplished.
This isn’t the first time they’ve set out on a long adventure. In 2009 they completed a trip across the US.
