“I have always liked being outdoors and got back into cycling when I started cycle commuting to work in 2008. I realised cycle touring/camping would be a great way to experience the countryside at a nice pace while being able to carry my gear with relative ease,” writes Darrell.
“I bought a touring bike in 2010 and completed the Pennine Cycleway a short while later raising some money for charity. I only manage day rides at the moment due to work and family commitments but aspire to longer more challenging trips in the future.”
