Trevor is an English cyclist in his 70s, seen here by a canal in Spain. Many people think you have to tour while you’re young but Trevor is proof that bike touring can be a sport to see you through retirement. “I always cycle alone — it means that you have to learn the language but that’s part of the fun,” says Trevor. In 2009, he went from Rotterdam to Berlin, following the coastal route through the Netherlands up to Hamburg then up the Elbe and Havel to Berlin, a journey of 1761 kilometers. Hi Trevor

I wondered what map(s) you used on your trip along Dutch coast & the Elbe.
Did you camp? If so did you find plenty of sites? I am doing a similar trip. Hoping tourist info in Holland & Germany have map of camp sites & cycle routes.

What is the cycle route like on Dutch coast?

Haven’t been able to connect to your web site.

    Thanks, David
