Bergerac Sec, tropical flavours

We took the first Eurostar out of London on Saturday morning and headed to Lille, about 1 1/2 hours away, for a wine fair. The Vignerons Independents is an amazing fair — packed with hundreds of small producers selling their wine from across the country. Just pay your 6 euros and you’re in for a full day of tasting. We only came back with about a dozen bottles, as we had to carry them home, but we must have tasted at least 100 wines.
