Bike Tour Of Denmark: Our Photos

Cycling The Moors Near SkagenWe’re back from a bike tour of Denmark, fully convinced that it’s one of the best countries in the world to see on two wheels (as long as the weather is in cooperative mood).

We have so many tips, stories and reviews to share with you from our 1,000km circuit of Jutland, but it will take us a few days to get everything together. In the meantime, maybe you’ll enjoy these photos from our tour.

The two slideshows below are of our favourite pictures, and then the whole set of nearly 250 photos. Enjoy! (And yes, we’ve joined Flickr, so you can keep track of all our future photos there).

Now that I’ve seen these pictures, I don’t really believe in those days of pouring rain in Denmark that yoú’ve told me about. Classical error: just taking pictures when it’s sunny! Back at home, no one will show any sympathy. The images are very consistent with the enthousiasm about the Danish food, though!

It only took one glance of that first glance of photos to change our ferrying plans for our upcoming RTW trip. We were going to go from Harwich straight to the Netherlands, but now we think ferrying to Esbjerg, Denmark is in order! What’s an extra 500 miles when you’ve got the whole world to go?

Can’t wait to see the stories. Also, I’d love to hear how you learned about those patches of trails you were on. Did you ride those over long distances or were they just a short side-trip for photos?

Hi there, I was wondering how your trip went and I enjoyed your photo’s, very nice and it looks like you got to enjoy some good weather too. It’s been the wettest winter in Australia for many years so I can commiserate with your wet times over there.
    Cheers from Steve.

Love the new website design! Looks like you had lots of fun in Denmark. Summer is coming to an end here in Canada, and the cool weather and rain have made an appearance. The temperature dropped 20 degrees Celsius in one day. Only in Canada, eh?! Not many people on bikes rolling past my door anymore.
