We pride ourselves on offering honest, independent opinions about bike touring equipment. If we don’t like something, we’ll tell you. On the other hand, when we love something, we’ll also point you to a shop where you can buy it. Mainly we work through Wiggle and REI – two retailers that we’ve shopped from before and always been happy with.

If you click from our site through to these retailers and buy something, we will get a small commission. This does not raise the price that you pay but the money helps us to keep the site running and write more articles about bike touring. Thanks! We appreciate your support.

Be a part of our:

• Podcast – Let us interview you over the phone about your latest tour or any aspect of bicycle touring and we’ll include the interview in an upcoming podcast.
• En-CYCLO-pedia – Send us an entry for our photo gallery of bike tourists.
• A Cyclist’s Life Series – Tell us about a week in your life on tour. We want your highlights, challenges and reactions. It can be a current week or one from a past trip. For this we need:
  -7 days written in a diary format, outlining the daily routines and events in a bike tourist’s life (these can be short; just one line if the day was uneventful, up to 300-400 words if it was a big day)
  -A photo or two to go along with the diary
  -An introduction paragraph about you
  -Any relevant links you want included
• Q&A Interview – We pose 10 questions by email about a destination you’ve been to or a trip you’ve taken.
