Ann Wilson is on our radar this week. She’s a British woman, recently retired and on a mission to pedal her way around the globe.
She’s already had to face having her precious custom-built bike stolen in Bulgaria, has made it through the Middle East and is now heading for India.
In this excerpt from her diary, Ann takes through the first days with her replacement bike Sofi as she continues through Bulgaria and on to Turkey. Along the way, she has to mend a few punctures and enjoys some local hospitality.
