If you’re looking for raw beauty and exhilaration on a tour, Quebec’s Gaspé peninsula, is a fine place.

From tiny coves and fishing villages to some killer hills and one of the most colourful cultural areas in all of North America, this is a fabulous spot to ride your bike. Paul Stockton toured the area in 2006 and this week he tells us about climbing grades of up to 15%, communicating in French and some of the beautiful places he saw along the way.
