David Piper has a unique approach to big bike touring trips.
He wants to go around the world but he’s not doing it all at once. Instead, David is joining up a series of rides that will eventually connect to make his circumnavigation complete and he’s raising money for Sustrans as he goes.
So far, David has cycled in a range of countries, include all over Europe and, further afield, Syria, Oman, India and America.
In this podcast, we interview David and we share a few tips for free camping in the Netherlands at special sites designed just for cyclists and walkers.
