Ready to answer are framebuilders and bike shop owners, all with some touring experience. So send us your questions and we’ll submit them to the experts.  This week, we tackle the question of chain wear.

    I have a frame/fork for sale on ebay, while breaking the bike down I found that I can not remove the fork. last year I had a cane creek 100 aheadset installed it has some sort of locking mechanism could you tell me how to unlock it? It would save shipping cost by putting it in a smaller box.

    Im taking my fixed geared bike apart for paint and was wondering if I could put a working crank and cog on either side of my bike. Would one cog undo itself?
